Jelaluddin 1926 20, on Rumi, Inayat July Khan's Hazrat Lecture

One of those meanings is: "I have the enemy which was within outside on my neck." In other words, "I have got it. ... There are multifarious meanings ascribed to the custom of the sages in India to have snakes all ended their necks.
